On Weak McCoy rings

Abstract

In this paper we prove that all semicommutative rings are weak McCoy, and also we show that $T_n(R)$ is weak McCoy. Then we give an example of weak McCoy ring that is not semicommutative. We also classify how the weak McCoy property behaves under direct product and direct limit.
