Generalization of suzuki’s method for altering distance

In this paper, Suzuki-type mapping has been considered on a metric space by altering distance, to generalize the Banach contraction theorem. We provide a new and more general condition for T which guarantees the existence of its fixed point. Our results reproduce many old and new
results in the literature.
