Abstract

In this paper using the concept of a pair (A, B) being weakly Acompatible, we prove a common fixed point theorem for self maps in fuzzy metric spaces which modifies and generalizes some known results. On the other hand a common fixed point theorem for self maps in sequentially compact fuzzy metric spaces is also proved.
