Abstract

In this paper, we develop a generalized scheme based on exponential quartic spline for solving third-order self adjoint singularly perturbed boundary value problems. The method is proved to be second-order convergent. We have shown that the proposed method is better than existing spline methods. Numerical illustrations are carried out to confirm the applicability and efficiency of the method.
