Convergence and Fixed Point Sets of Generalized Homogeneous Maps

Abstract

We introduce the notion of generalized homogeneous maps and show that, under suitable conditions, their convergence sets are star-convex and their fixed point sets are contractible. We also prove that the fixed point set of a virtually nonexpansive generalized homogeneous map is always star-convex.
